Hello from Dr. Lauren Stone!

I am a lifelong believer that every student is capable of growth when they have the right support, encouragement, and someone willing to meet them where they are.

 

With 17 years of experience as both a teacher and school administrator, I bring much more than homework help to tutoring. I understand how students learn, where they can get stuck, and how to identify the strategies that can help them move forward with confidence.

 

Throughout my career, I've worked with students with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and academic needs. My approach is personalized because no two students are exactly alike. Some students need help mastering a specific skill. Others need organization, study strategies, accountability, or simply the confidence to realize, “I can do this.”

 

I also understand education from both sides of the table. As an educator and administrator, I know how schools, curriculum, assessments, and academic expectations work. That experience allows me to help families better understand what their student needs and develop practical strategies for success.

 

Most importantly, I want tutoring to be a place where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering what they're capable of.
